Villa Torlonia

Not far from Hotel Corallo there’s Villa Torlonia, a XIX century Villa of Rome in the Nomentano district, it became a public place in 1978. This villa is surrounded by an enchanting park, suitable for long relaxing walks with your family, or for enjoying your book immersed in a green calm; many places with toys for kids in this park too.
We strongly recommend to visit the Museums of Villa Torlonia, they’re located all over the park, and they are themselves architecture masterpieces. In their rooms you can admire mosaics and prestigious works of contemporary art. In particular don’t miss the Casino Nobile, the Casino dei Principi and the amazing Casina delle Civette, a building in Swiss chalet style (see photo) really unusual for Rome!
